The AshTat Centre for Creative Living

“AshTat” is a combined abbreviation of two beautiful words – Ashram and Tathagat. Ashram is Hindu for community where seekers study under a spiritual master and Tathagat means, in essence, acceptance.

AshTat brings these two concepts together with the understanding that there is no spiritual master to follow other than the one within each of us. The AshTat Centre is a place of non-judgement and acceptance of you in all your beauty – a place to be you.

The AshTat Centre offers a programme of courses and meditations grounded on creativity and lead by a group of well qualified and dedicated teachers and facilitators. There is an understanding that the way in which the programme is facilitated is a key to its success. All expectations are dropped. Expect nothing but be open to everything. There is but one condition – that each participant agrees to enter fully into the process of exploring and expressing his/her creativity. Facilitators remain aware of the importance of each word, nuance and gesture in their delivery and presentation of any aspect of the programme.

The AshTat Centre is a totally non-judgmental and safe space in which all effort will be honored no matter how seemingly humble it may appear – this is the seed, the first step, the beginning.
