AshTat in Suffolk
Over many years of painting I have accumulated a folio of work - paintings, prints and drawings of the countryside and coast of UK and abroad - which I wish to put to "good use".
This also applies to my Reiki Healing Practice and the Meditation Programme I facilitated at the AshTat Centre I established in Glastonbury. In effect the ethos of that centre has now moved with me to this quiet place on the Suffolk coast and is available to any who accept the invitation. All proceeds from the sale of my work and the healing and meditation programmes will be given to worthy causes.
The studio open weekend in August 2010 will be dedicated to two causes -
1 The local self-help group for MS sufferers and their carers - Waveney SHIMS. I am helped in this by my daughter Jennifer who has MS.
2 The AshTat in India Project is now established (click here for details). I will ensure that proceeds from my work will be directly passed to this charitable organisation to ease the need and suffering of children in that wonderful country.
The second project will be ongoing. My intention is to offer Reiki Healing and Meditation on a donation basis to any of this community and beyond who would like to experience them. Proceeds from these activities and the ongoing sale of work will be given to the AshTat Project.
